NEW NEWS... NEW NEWS... Back to School

David Bilton, Company Director, is committed to ensuring that the knowledge and expertise delivered by DGB Events is of the highest possible quality.

Events safety is obviously paramount to all event organisers and an aspect of delivery for DGB Events which is very much in demand. Although David is recognised in the profession as a published safety expert, he is ensuring that no stone is left unturned by returning to school – well the University of Derby – to complete an Events Safety Diploma, proving that safety is core to the company’s vision.

AWARDS - Hat Trick for DGB Events at The Journal Cultural Awards

The Journal Culture Awards celebrates and recognises the wealth, diversity and concentration of talent we have here in the North East. The 2009 awards took place in March 2010 at the Gala Theatre in Durham, with a shining gathering of the cultural movers and shakers coming together in order to pay their respects to the people who made 2009 a year of cultural diversity, fun and frolics.

DGB Events received the ultimate stamp of approval, winning Best Event Durham for Lumiere in a co-production with Artichoke and also taking a well earned bow for being part of the winning teams taking Best Event Northumberland for Re-garrisoning of Hadrian’s Wall and Best Event Tyne & Wear and Overall Regional Winner for Juice.

David Bilton, Company Director commented ‘I’m absolutely delighted that DGB Events has been recognised both by the general public and cultural professionals. It’s like the proverbial bus... three came along at once!’
